Books published ONLY as an Ebook are not eligible for this book award.

All decisions by the judges are final.

Entries must be postmarked by midnight December 31, 2017.

Entry is not designated a finalist or a winner until registration is validated.

If there are any deviations from the specific submission rules and guidelines, the entry may be disqualified depending on the infraction. Entry fees are not refundable.

This competition is subject to all Federal, State and Municipal laws and regulations. Void in states where prohibited. It is the author or publisher’s responsibility to know this information.

Failure of any finalists to complete, sign and return any further requested documents within a designated timeframe may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner at the sponsor’s sole discretion.

No prize substitutions, transfers or cash alternative are permitted.

The SASE to receive a copy of the JUDGE’S ROUTING SHEET with the scoring for your book that is entered must be submitted with your official entry package. JUDGE’S ROUTING SHEET requests sent in after the official entry package will not be honored.

Because of logistics we cannot return books, but have plans to donate them to a worthwhile literacy organization. Because of the devastation of Hurricane Harvey here in Houston where the award offices are located, we are sure they will find a good home where they are need.

Employees and board members of 3rd Coast Book, Readers Cloud 9 or Cloud 9 Indie Books Award are not eligible to enter the award. Official judges are also ineligible to enter.

Any returned checks will automatically VOID your entry.
